Hey guys...yes I know its been awhile since I blogged and I did promised a few of you that I would blog this week...as I did for many weeks before that too but details details...
I'm blogging now!though its 345 in the morning...

Its the time of the semester when everyone is swarmed with assignments or beginning to prep for exams...
I got a 2500words sex & gender research essay, a 1500 words comms history & tech. essay and a PR plan to finish by 20th, 28th & 26th Oct respectively...
Been spending most of my days in the State Library working on them...
so far,I think I'm ahead of schedule...

and on a random note, saw this hot Taiwanese girl sitting across me when I first sat down on my table...
went on to do my work for the next hour...obviously with a few subtle glances on the way...
the next thing I knew, my hot Taiwanese girl turned into a Sean Kingston...

anyway yes, been missing since mid-August but loads of stuff been happening...
was back in Singapore for a week in September to see my new pups...

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY ONCE AGAIN!!

2 days of celebration...It was a blast!!

oh...and I forgot to mention, after that eve party...
I've accumulated 3 Fridays of partying & alcohol in a row...
2 weeks before the twin's birthday...
Monica, Michelle and I made an impromptu decision to head down Eve after a drink around town...

but my liver needs a serious detox...
thus, the assignments...whoo hoo~

speaking of twins...I'm in love with these pair of twins...

I'm so in love with Janice and her voice here...

anyway...here's a brief of my 1.5 months...and I spent an hour blogging this...now its 5am!!

it just occurred to me that of the 7 days of the week...I'm only going to school less than 1/2 the time!
what's my point?
I'm lovin' it!

for what's worth, I have been keeping myself occupied with other random stuff like...

1) babysitting job at a school's function (07/08/09)
my facial lady, Lisette asked me to help out with babysitting...
and I roped Sara in...
imagine...about 50-60 kids with a screen projector showing "Coraline" in a huge classroom while their parents are having wine tasting and auctions in the school hall...
lucky for us, we didn't hafta clean up after them...
never trust kids with their own plate of pizzas and popcorn boxes..thank goodness we didn't give them coke...
but we survived!

2) Hoedown Throw down (08/08/09)
This is what happens when you have a totally bored Kim waiting for Ian...

3) National Day (09/08/09)
Went over to Sara's house for a mini National Day celeb with Sara, Claire, Kim, Ian and Dennis...
'coz we so love the red and white crescent & stars...
bought Singapore food like bah kut teh, chicken rice, char kway teow and laksa from Old Town Kopitiam..

4) International Suit-Up Day! 13/08/09

"SUIT UP!"
Suited up and had quite a night at Crown with a Super Banana Split!
Gonna be awhile before you see Johannes in a suit again...

5) Promoter job @ Bond Lounge (14/08/09)
my promoter's job at Bond Lounge, which I realize is hard work if I really want to get a decent pay...
but I think I'm picking up on it...
though the Prisonbreak party didn't earn me anything 'coz my guest list started dropping like flies at the last moment...
its amazing what a promoter's tag could do for your sociability...and the benefits you have!

6) Nadia's 21st Birthday Party (15/08/09)
Rockin' birthday party for a girl who is only turning 21 only in 3 weeks time...
emotional for the best few moments of it too...
Ted and I did a few songs for our favourite sis and god-sis...
Oasis's "Wonderwall" and Goo Goo Doll's "Iris"
probably the best live performance I've done so far...
but anyways...

That pretty much rounded up my weeks here so far...
Been meaning to make a few phone calls back to Singapore but I'll get to that later this week hopefully...

other than the already mentioned insomnia a few nights ago...

in case you eager readers are wondering...
nothing much happened over the weekend...

that's partly 'coz on Friday...
I found out there are some girls who drink like guys...
I kinda learnt that the really HARD way...

oh!and I finally got a job!!

for those interested to know details of those 2 sentences, ask me...
(yeah,this is my way of getting people to talk to me 'coz I am Mr Popular so do not start a conversation...)
nah, just kidding...but just that big brother is watching...

anyway, time for some quick birthday shout outs...

for all you readers who's been waiting on this blog for ages...
sorry you all wasted your time for the past 9-10 months...
wait!its been that long since I posted?!!

Yeap, I'm still playing with that ol' 6-string...

well...its been quite a 2009 so far...more than a year since I got out of the dreaded place of the green camo and black boots...but here's what I have been up to...
- into my 2nd year of uni...(proud to say I think I'm doing better than I thought in school...)
- made my debut trip to London and Paris over the winter break in June...(Paris...not as glamorous as made out to be...)

- MJ, the King of Pop is gone...(seriously never miss the water til its gone,I'm actually really sad that he is...God bless MJ and the Jackson family.. )
- been in and out of a few 'real-life' drama, playing both supporting and main cast...(yeah what's new right?)
- turned a year older just 2 weeks ago...(do the math on my age yourself!)
- for everything else ----->t.b.c

As much as I wanna try make this debut entry sound as profound as possible, I really ain't got anything of that sort to share with you all right now...

damn man...a busted ankle and a hang over...quite a way to start a Sunday morning...but hey!I must say its been a fun long weekend... never had that much fun in ages!

Karaoke with my camp mates at Party World in Tanjong Pagar on Friday night...

and Dad's high school theme birthday party@ St James's Bellini...I would put up pictures if I had my lappie now,using dad's lappie 'coz mine went crazy...I was an RJ boy... drank a tad bit too much and some of my mum's frenz are serious m.i.l.f if you know what I mean...

hmmm...8 months through NS...was just at Island Creamery with Joakim this afternoon and for some reasons,jus sitting outside and watching the cars on the road on a rainy day...makes me feel at peace...the same feeling I got after the first week I enlisted to the army and sitting at the same place...strangely something about that which puts me at ease...I need more of those places which puts me more at ease....

I looking for a sign...I need a sign!Give me a blardy sign!!

alas my return from a state of dormant...

I think I really under-estimate the value of this blog, so hopefully I'll have the time to make the fullest use of it in future...

been in the pits lately...nearing rock-bottom...been gettin' into way too much trouble in camp nowadays...either I'm jus unlucky or the people in camp really ain't got anything better to do...6 months through the dreaded NS life and I have concluded this much...it really ISN'T worth it chiong-ing so much for the country...

well...there is a whole load of more of bitching about army I could really make but for now I'll leave it as that...for now...

Meg left for Switzeland about 3 weeks ago for a different kind of studies...ain't gonna see her til June...the house feels rather odd without my lil' girl with her study notes/text book/story book in the house with a bag of "hamster" food next to her...-shrugZ- darn I really miss my baby sister...

I need something to look forward to...still in need of a direction...nothing seems right...everything is just so slow...so repetitive...so monotenous...feels like I'm slow losing the people who matters the most to me...I'm in need of an inspiration...

Been more a less a lonely December considerin' the fact that my whole family is in the country of the red, white and blue...yes...they're in the States now...

This is the terrible part of NS(not that its already not bad enough...), it really limits your choices of overseas travel...

On a lighter note, I'm on leave this week!It really feels good being away from camp at this point in time...the feeling is really uplifting and light-hearted...seriously,this feeling is priceless as an NSF...

Amazing how you tend to notice the smallest good in the worst case-scenario...if NS taught me anything meaningful, that would probably be the only lesson...

and now I'm starting to think I'm talking a bit way too much about NS...

anyway...

I'm feeling so freakin' emo & moody right now...

Nothin's changed since my last entry...

I seriously don't know how all NSFs handle this stress of being so blardy regimental for 2 years of their life!

No blardy aim!No blardy direction!No nothing!Jus wearing the same uniform I wear almost every weekday...following trainings...lectures...trainings...'tekan' sessions by instructors...and more trainings!!

Now I understand why some people ended their life in suicide but that is not going to be me...

but I don't know what's going to be of me...I don't know what's going to be of anything...I don't know anything right now...

I need to get away for awhile...I need something to look forward to...

Anyway...I've been listening to this song...really nice...its by a 15yr old Indo-Chinese kid!Take a listen to it...you people probably heard it on the radio before...

yes yes...so the title mentions...thus I'm having a long weekend away from camp...

feels really good until the last few hours when it just dawns upon you that you hafta go back in soon...

past few weeks in Mowbray camp has been relatively good...life is seriously better as compared to Tekong...bunk mates are pretty cool, everyone else in my platoon are jus as fine...instructors are comical to an extent...

only thing I hafta complain is about the food...imagine having fried fish for lunch and dinner almost everyday!1st, fried fish with sweet & sour sauce...2nd, fried fish with chilli sauce...3rd, fried fish with lemon sauce and the list goes on...

and I'm going back to Tekong for my 3 days 2 nights outfield!Damn I hate overnight outfield training...

but doesn't matter...4 more weeks to end of MP training!

also at this point in time...life feels a bit mundane...no direction in life...nothing to look forward to even during the weekends...I've said this once,I'll say it again...NS is really taking away quite a bit of my life...Its jus so...I don't know...kinda meaningless so to say...I'm already suffocating living like this for the past 4 months and I hafta go on living like this for the next one & a half years?!I don't know how long I can live like this!

God...Please give me a direction...
